SSD Testing Center
The purpose of the SSD Testing Center is to support faculty with providing testing accommodations for students with disabilities. The SSD Testing Center exists to assist Virginia Tech with meeting legally required needs of students with disabilities. The SSD aspires to do so in the spirit of inclusivity and in a way that reduces stigma and stress for students. The SSD Testing Center balances these goals with the recognition that faculty have many responsibilities, an appreciation for academic rigor, and a commitment to maintaining academic integrity.
The SSD Testing Center has provided thorough information and guides for faculty and students regarding testing accommodations below.

Did You Know?
Did you know? In 2011-2012, the SSD Testing Center administered more than 1,300 tests for students. This number does not include tests that faculty arranged in other locations.
We rely on faculty to provide space for students to take tests whenever possible, as we have a limit to our testing capacity.
