Testing Accommodations for Students with Disabilities
Eligibility
Students are not eligible for testing accommodations unless they have presented official documentation to the Services for Students with Disabilities Office that indicates this is an appropriate accommodation. An "Accommodation Letter" from the Services for Students with Disabilities Office will be issued to students to give to their professors indicating what accommodations are needed.Description
Faculty who are unable to locate space in their department or college to provide testing accommodations for students with a documented disability can reserve testing space with the Services for Students with Disabilities Office (SSD) during its posted hours for monitoring exams.Hours of Operation for Testing
For regular tests & quizzes:
Monday - Friday: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.Note to faculty: While SSD provides testing space, there is limited monitoring.
For Final Exams:
If faculty are unable to secure testing space in their college or department, then final exam testing space should be scheduled with the SSD office at least one week before the final exam date. The SSD testing hours will be extended to accommodate the university final exam schedule. What to do next...

2. The student and professor must complete a Testing Reservation Form: (Word 97-2003 Doc) or (Adobe PDF).IMPORTANT: Testing Reservation Forms MUST be submitted at least two working days (48 hours) before the test date in order to guarantee testing space with SSD.
